Hey guys I hope you are all doing well in isolation and keeping safe! I thought now would be a good time to write a blog post with my latest product recommendations, especially as many brands are offering such good deals at the mo!
I’m trying to use my time in lockdown as sensibly as I can and put it to good use, so since I’ve made a decision to now work solely for myself (god knows what took me so long!) I thought now would be a good time to add to my kit and research all the interesting new cool brands out there! For all that know me know my kit weighs on the really heavy side and can be a pain to lug around, so I’ve managed to downsize it as I’m now using a cabin size case which is quite a miracle for me lol! Plus I’ve invested in some clear tubes, and a label printer to decanter my liquid foundations hoping to save on a little more weight, I will document my processes and progress on insta when it all arrives!
As you know I’m an avid bargain shopper so
I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH how worth it it is being signed up to mailing lists on websites of all your favourite brands plus Cult Beauty, Feel Unique, Look Fantastic and Space NK, you will always get at least 10% off if not 20%/30% off well worth it I think!

Hair bands – invisibobles are great (the telephone wire hair bands) and the newest invention is @slip silk hair scrunchies perfect for putting your hair up without kinks or causing damage
Cutting – I have my hair cut every 6-8 weeks and I’m pretty religious about it, my hair really benefits from regular cuts and I can tell by how healthy it feels, a blow dry holds for days and has a lovely shine to it!
Colouring – I’m not a colourist but I’ve been there with the bleach and had to have my hair cut short, just to get the good condition back again! Make sure you choose a hairdresser that truly cares about the texture and health of your hair, doesn’t over process or use a too high peroxide! Nothing worse than hair that’s like chewing gum just to get the colour you want quickly! Tinting hair can give a lovely glossy finish to the hair, I personally tint mine a shade or 2 darker every 8weeks throughout the autumn and winter and then leave it natural in the summer, to get those natural streaky highlights. Best thing I ever did was embrace my natural colouring as it suits me so much better than the blonde, and even now when I leave it to dry naturally it’s got a lovely beach wave because I’ve worked hard at getting it in such good condition, never under estimate the lovely feeling and look of natural hair in great condition!

I hope all the above provides a good bible / reference point to anyone looking to revamp their current beauty collection!
